Well, @hglanz and I just discovered the hard way that if you share a Dropbox folder...

...and that folder is also a Git repo...

...and one of you changes branches....

.... Dropbox very helpfully updates the git tracking and thus auto-changes the other person's branch as well. 🤦‍♀️

Is it mainly an issue if you are sharing a Dropbox folder? Or is there danger to me using my own private Dropbox as backup on repos?

I don't want to stop my "Everything is both Dropbox and Git" strategy. 😭
