@puppygirlhornypost as a bonus: litepub:EmojiReact as implemented also allows for multiple reactions and reacting with emoji from remote instances. while there isn't anything stopping this from being pulled off with the as:Like-with-content federation method misskey uses, i'm unsure how much punting around the misskey codebase would need to pull that off.
(also, this definitely isn't something worth hardforking over. a softfork can probably handle it)
@puppygirlhornypost the only long term maintainable solution is abandoning misskey as a base altogether, and wouldn't you look at that -- iceshrimp already chose that option!
@max no stock masto doesn't do it. the only thing stock masto do is be disappointingly average while bordering on just being usable enough for people to be Fine™ with it
