Well, my damn tremor caused me to break the connector on the Nintendo Switch motherboard for the right joycon. 😡 Now it’s not recognizing it connected to the console.

Now I have to get a damn motherboard for it.

@mammoth @kylewritescode I’ve been trying to discover new and interesting #infosec accounts and have wanted to get some use out of the /cybersecurity curated list on #mammoth but in its current state I don’t find it very useful or high-signal. The feed is dominated (at times) by some AI cyber bot thing “cyberfeed” and “Beyond Machines” and some other high-volume posters who only post about infosec a small percentage of the time. It’s also littered with reply posts that are not useful in isolation (even if the parent post is relevant to infosec). How often is this list updated? I’d be happy to help with curation. My timeline is very high-signal on all things infosec & cybersecurity fwiw.

I love the idea of the curated lists and appreciate all the time that’s gone into working on it so far though!!

For me, my new replacement speakers came in for my Nintendo Switch so I’ll be replacing them. I also have the usual work stuff. Getting started updating clients endpoints to meet GM guidelines. Then it’s just relaxing at home.

We just had a family dinner yesterday, nothing too exciting. We don’t celebrate the holidays but was nice to get the family together. Today I’m taking the day off again since we have our oldest home from college.

For me, we cooked a bunch of stuff and took down all the Christmas decorations outside, as Christmas time is over and that stuff needed to go.

Now, it's back to work as usual and then just resting and relaxing as much as possible.

Yesterday was busy for me so I didn’t get to post my morning chat. I went and got my oldest from Lubbock and then it was busy the rest of the day. Today we are having my parents, my brother and his family over for a family dinner. Currently getting the house ready.
