@wakest I remember being quite frustrated about this as well. Does anyone know off the top of their heads what happens to a federated Article when it hits Mastodon? Does it get converted to a Note, or does it remain an Article object with its content stripped and replaced with title text and link?

I can hear Giles doing his duolingo. I wonder how we'll get on in the exalted heights of Ruby league, to which we were both promoted yesterday, and since which I have been badgered repeatedly to post a picture of the associated trophy to social media.

Abandoned this block of a few years ago, but finally put a little time into it today and pulled a few proofs. Needs some cleaning-up, but it's nearly there. Good ol' Skelly. What a champ.
