No issues here whatsoever with other sites, including those that use L.E. certs. Weird. I guess it is a Tor circuit related issue. On another browser without Tor it loads fine.
I also don’t understand it. But now I am wondering if we would not have had those “careless” (indifferent ? ignorant ?) millions of people not blocking ads then Google and others may have started pushing anti-adblock measures years earlier, no ?

I would consider myself an intermediate-advanced user (not quite power user), do you think trying Arch is a good idea at this stage?
Arch Linux used to be pretty difficult to install for new users, but now it comes with a build in installer it requires less reading than before. btw There is Arch for ARM archlinuxarm.org maybe your orangepi is supported. Distro hopping or just testing another Linux distro can be comfortable on SBC since replacing SD card or USB stick is usually easy.
Oh, I see :/ Forgot that I’m kind of privileged with using Raspberry Pi (I don’t particularly endorse them actually.It just happened years ago). From time to time when I look at other SBC hardware options I do see that the software is not catching up as well as it does for the rpi. Good to hear your story.

One thing you can do with your arch build is use the fingerprinting tool to see how unique you are, then get a new identity, then go back and do it again. Does it now say you’re one of 2 people who have used the tool, or does it show you’re (again) unique? If the latter, then it’s working (at least enough) properly.
Interesting. I would have expected the useragent string to be part of the user configuration files that are automatically created in the browser profile directory. I’ve not used Tor browser package from Arch yet but curious to do some testing.
Sadly I think even disabling JS entirely would take away so much “blending in” that it still wouldn’t be hard to uniquely fingerprint a user without it. Even CSS (without JS) and standard HTML tags like “picture” can be used to fingerprint now.
Right. I guess there’s also a difference between wanting to be as anonymous as possible and wanting to not be tracked too much by some sites.
In some browser profiles I do block JS completely for a few reasons.

For other use cases I prefer Tor browser without any added extensions.

Here it is fine for me in a browser on the desktop. Maybe your server blocked or muted something or has some configuration mistake ? Or maybe on your phone app ? Test on a few different browsers on desktop ? Try un-subcribe and then sub again ?
