so here we have a game that manages to impress me in less than a minute

like yes you can just ask the player for pronouns and other preferences before the intro cutscene, but i think this is so much smoother

hm does anyone know if bandcamp downloads are watermarked in any way?

more precisely:
• if i download an album i bought, will i get the same¹ file no matter when i download it?
• if someone else buys and downloads that album, will they get the same¹ file as me?
¹ modulo audio formats, updates by the artist, etc

(totally not trying to manage my music collection with nix…)

glaube ja langsam, der Grund warum ich kaum Probleme hatte mit Ergänzungsausweis in Ausweiszeigesituationen ist nicht, dass Leute so vertraut damit wären, sondern, dass Deutsche einfach obrigkeitshörig sind und alles was offiziell aussieht und ein Foto hat als Ausweisdokument akzeptieren

what a weird measure is “x years of experience” anyway

like i started learning rust in 2015, around its 1.0 release. i got started with other languages and server administration way before that

does that mean i have over ten years of experience in programming and sysadmining? even though there have been many periods where i didn't touch any servers or programming languages for months? if no, how many “years of experience” do i have!?
