Hier also mein Artikel über den -Winter.
Viele Punkte kennt man schon. Corona selbst erscheint nicht mehr so dramatisch, allerdings mit zwei potenziellen Einschränkungen.

Spannend wird, was und RSV mit den Kindern machen.
In DE erzählen sich ja alle gegenseitig, sei für Kinder harmlos.
Ahahaha. Nein.
Hab neulich n Seminar von ner US-Pädiaterin gesehen, da waren allein zwei ganze Slides voll mit gängigen .

@Fischblog Vielen Dank für das Update.

Eine Anmerkung:
Du schreibst, dass es derzeit einen geringen Anstieg der Infektionszahlen gäbe. Die verschiedenen Faktoren (Sentinels in RP, Belegung der Intensivstationen etc.) zeigen, dass seit Wochen die Zahlen um 40-50% pro Woche steigen oder sich etwa als zwei Wochen verdoppeln. Das finde ich durchaus einen erheblichen Anstieg. Weißt Du, woher die Ärztin zu ihrer Meinung kam?

@Fischblog Vermutlich sehen wir die gleichen Daten und lesen die anders. 😉 Ich sehe (https://www.unimedizin-mainz.de/SentiSurv-RLP/dashboard/index.html):

  • Juli 23: 234, 107, 443 (7-T-Inz.+95%Konf)
  • August 23: 359, 237, 552
  • September 23: 770, 611, 958
    und lese einen deutlichen Anstieg sowohl der Inzidenz wie auch der Intervallgrenzen.
    ITS-Einweisungen stiegen von 5-10 im Juli 23 auf 20-30 im September 23. etc.
    Daher gehe/ging ich von einem stärkeren Anstieg der Zahlen aus.

The Provisional Mortality statistics have been updated by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), up to May 2023.

Here are the deaths where the underlying cause of death was certified by a doctor as COVID-19 (14,000 deaths). Each individual death is represented by a single point, spread out across the years of the pandemic.

The latest wave of COVID-19 deaths is building in this view.
