How do you view all subscribed magazines? On Lemmy you can go to Communities, and then choose subscribed, and it shows you a list of your subscribed communities. When I click on Magazines on top in kbin, it doesn't have a selection to let you pick subscribed only.

I'm assuming its here somewhere and I'm just being dumb because I can't find it.

So, if I'm following correctly, Lemmy currently is experiencing a massive wave of bot registrations, and now about 800 thousand new registered accounts across several different instances are bots. What is kbin doing to prevent that, other than just being somewhat smaller and not picking up as much attention?

/kbin server update - or how the server didn't blow up

Currently, on the main instance, people have created 40191 accounts (+214 marked as deleted). I don't know how many are active because I don't monitor it, but once again, I greet all of you here :) In recent days, the traffic on the website has been overwhelming. It's definitely too much for the basic docker-compose setup,...

Anybody have any idea what /f/inbox is? Trying to sort out why I'm getting a bunch of HTTP/405 response codes in my logs.

@gme So as far as I know, that is part of the ActivityPub protocol. Servers are using this end-point to deliver their posts/data from their instance to your side using JSON content.

It should always be 'POST' method requeests (not to be confused with Kbin "posts"). I'm talking about HTTP POST.

@gme Yes this is part of the official activitypub protocol. So other instances are then calling this endpoint to add their data (eg. posts) to your server. The requests should be HTTP POST Methods. And the result you sent to them should be 200 OK.

Yea I can imagine as well.. That this took off too fast. Mastodon initially could not handle the load as well after the first huge migrations (5 years ago or something). After that, we have seen many more migration waves since..

For some reason I can't yet find my kbin account on my masterdon instead. But the other way around does work. I can search on my mastodon account on kbin :)

O you are right! It now seems to work! Great..! I fixed it somehow :D

Mastodon is not getting the correct profile image though.. Since I did set an image, as you can see here:

seems to work now for me... Sorry about the confusing, if kbin is correctly configured.. Mastodon should be able to find your Kbin account as well.. Ideally?
