hotfix, 2024-04-30

This hotfix limits titles/names in MusicBrainz to 1024 characters, with extremely long titles being the cause of a few bugs regarding replication/mirrors. It also fixes a artist page display bug on beta.

Wow whee - just got an email from to say that my yearly subscription price changed from $30 to $50.

Crazy stuff. I get that inflation is a thing; but the site is entirely user contributed data - from the scrobbling of the tracks to editing data and uploading images and links in the database.

And they sell that data to other companies. And haven’t updated their website or apps in so, so, long. The whole thing is pretty much in maintenance mode.

In Fresh Releases you should now find a ‘copy to clipboard’ button for alt-text. huhridge has also implemented alt text for the LB on-screen svg, to make it accessible for screen readers. -a
