I was saying de-LOOZH instead of DEH-lyooj for my entire life and I STILL have problems with it, not because I don't know but because for some reason I just can't SAY it right. My tongue ties in a knot when I try and I end up all dellaleelooj

I am faced with an interesting dilemma: go to Anaheim in May to give a Service to SFWA award acceptance speech looking like death warmed over, or record a video of my acceptance speech looking like death warmed over when even at my best, video makes me look like death warmed over?

Drawbacks of going in person: exhaustion, possibly stumbling and faceplanting on the stage.

Advantages of going in person: my ghoulish face won't be RIGHT UP IN THE FACE of the people watching 😂
