In the 90s there used to be a good comic book store in the basement off the alley behind this building. I learned it was also Steve Purcell’s local comic shop and that’s how I ended up meeting him (for an interview for my Sam & Max fansite 😎). Early and formative and totally lucky step on my road to having a career in games.

The most popular drawing I've ever done is this Grim Fandango illustration for
@mixnmojo 's Secret History series -- way back in 2009! I got a lot of comments about it, prints of it always sold well, and I got multiple emails from people asking if they could get tattoos of it. (+)

The boxes of “The Secret of Monkey Island” and “Monkey Island 2: LeChucks Revenge” stand on a table. I hold up the box of “Return to Monkey Island”, and gleefully out the box behind the two others. Lookong on their right side, all logos that are printed on the sides align perfectly. The camera then shows the top side of the three boxes, revealing that the logo of the newly added box is upside down, while the logos on the others are still aligned. Moving to the left side, it also have the new logo upside down.

A couple of days ago at work we announced the Steam Deck OLED. It’s available next week (Nov 16) and though it’s got a bunch of great improvements like longer battery life, faster downloads, the star is the ultra-bright HDR OLED screen.

The screens are ridiculously bright and vibrant, so we thought it would be fun to use actual Steam Deck OLEDs as lighting sources to light our entire launch trailer.

Of course this necessitated building a giant metal orb. First though, here’s the final spot:
