Rudy Giuliani has gone missing. Arizona prosecutors have in vain been trying to find him for weeks, to serve him a notice of indictment. If he is not found before May 21, a warrant of arrest will be issued.

@andreasio @kimschulz Tech man ikke har brug for, IMHO. Sværere er det ikke at bage. Da jeg for nyligt købte ny ovn, ville jeg have en der kun har tænd/sluk og temperatur. Den jeg så fik har en knap ned ca. 10 indstillinger, hvoraf jeg altid kun bruger 1: den med blæser. Og en knap til temperatur naturligvis. Og ikonerne på knappen er så små at jeg skal have læsebrillerne på for at afkode ikonerne, der iøvrigt alle ligner hinanden. Hader alt det overengineered lort.

@anderspuck @kallekn They might be less confident, but they are still in control of what happens on the battlefield. If they choose to employ tactical nuclear warheads they loose control, because they don't know how the world is going to react, and that reaction might be one they won't be able to handle.

@kallekn @anderspuck You have to consider -- and I think even the Russians do that -- what there is to gain by using this weapon, and in my opinion there is absolutely nothing to gain, on the contrary.

@anderspuck, a comment regarding your interview on Silicon Curtain: The idea that the West can somehow remote control what happens is Russia by turning up and down weapons supplies, sending/not sending Taurus missiles, trying not to insult Putin, leaving Russia a way out of this war, etc. etc. is a fantasy.What happens will happen, there is nothing we can do or not do that will change what happens in Russia. We can't control it. In 1991 US tried desperately to keep Gorbachev in power, and failed

I am convinced Trump is running his own defense. His lawyers are nothing but puppets and mouthpieces who are tasked with saying what he wants and how he wants it. His lawyers are destroying their credibility, reputation and eventually their careers working for him.

@kimschulz Det lyder interessant, jeg vil tjekke dem ud! Det er til foreningsbrug, så vi har et centralt sted at opbevare alle dokumenter, referater, ansøgninger, osv. osv. Vi er interesseret i en service der understøtter flere brugere i samme instans, men ikke nødvendigvis med de samme rettigheder.

@aphandersen Det er nu to forsvarsministre i træk der er blevet bragt i kæmpe forlegenhed pga manglende eller direkte ukorrekte oplysninger fra den militære ledelse. Det må vist være forklaring nok. Derudover alle de syvårsplaner der efter 10 år stadig ikke nærmere sig at være gennemført, men tværtimod kræver yderligere fem år og mange millioner ekstra.

@folfdk Ja det vil være vicepræsidentkandidaten der overtager præsidentembedet hvis han f.ex. dør (før eller efter valget, det er det samme). Den indtrædende præsident vil herefter udpege en ny vicepræsident, som skal godkendes i begge kongressens kamre.

Russian state media continue to push the explanation that the arrested terrorists did it for money. Apparently, the salary for becoming a mass murderer was USD 5400.
They don't mention ISIS with a single word.

On a sidenote, it has always puzzled me that Russians in uniform so often wear masks on TV even in situations where it makes no operational sense. Are they not proud to be associated with their service?

An act of terrorism is also an attack on the state, and especially if they thought it was carried out by Ukraine as they say (they obviously don’t believe that themselves). 90 minutes is a looong time when the emergency center is max 5 minutes away. And they were warned. And they practiced terror attack on Crocus Hall. Etc etc.

It's exactly the same playbook Putin used in the Dubrovka Theater attack in 2002, where Putin's antiterror corps killed 40 alleged "terrorists" and 132 ordinary theater guests. After that Putin had great popular support for his war in Chechnia. Same ruler fcking 22 years later, same old playbook.

@anderspuck @sarahbeck I know, I am not confusing anything. The 2. Chechen war was exceedingly brutal and losing support . The Dubrovka incident helped Putin reign in power. After that, in 2004, there was the Beslan school siege, which helped portray the Caucasus as completely out of control.

@anderspuck @sarahbeck Because I simply don't believe a society with such systematic and efficient surveillance of all citizens in all corners of the empire, that something like this can happen without the FSB knowing about it. In addition, several Western intelligence services knew that something big was going to happen and warned about it, several weeks ago.

@anderspuck @sarahbeck I can't explain everything, not a fair question. All I am saying is that some of these terrorist attacks are awfully convenient for Putin whenever he wants to create internal support for military action, as the case was in Chechnia and now, in Ukraine. We already know they are blaming Ukrainians for the concert hall massacre, and we also know that Putin' regards his own citizens as expendable bodies that can be unceremoniously sacrificed in service of the empire.
