I keep seeing a ad for a shitty dropshipping company called Temu which says "shop like a billionaire" and then displays screeds upon overwhelming screeds of useless two dollar plastic crap.

based on their tagline I really had no idea wealth system abusers purchased so much unuseable tat 💀💀

@falcennial As far as I can tell, Temu is the second phase of china’s international online influence campaign, after first getting everyone hooked on TikTok. Seems to be working well for them so far. I stay far away but many people seem to be jumping in head first without a moments thought

Today is the 103rd anniversary of the 19th Amendment. Remember—it only gave white women voting rights. BIPOC women waited decades more:
•1920: White Women
•1952: Asian Women
•1962: Native Women
•1965: Black Women
•1975: Latino Women

We must continue to protect voting rights. We have immense work to do yet.

@QasimRashid Especially with the activist so-called conservate Supreme Court gophers. I expect some of them would love to remove it or negate it somehow. Possibly through a flea-bitten disingenuous new federalist reading. “When it states, ‘Voting Rights’, the correct interpretation is “Voting. Right? s” where the s is indicative of a negative promulgation regarding psilocybin content in school yard garbage allotments. See, nothing to do with the lay man’s reason.” Keep your rights & USE THEM

There should be some easy way to purge music you've added for a period of time (Amazon). Like a "restore to X date" to account for poor life choices.
Music is very personal to me.

@waitnwallflower Out of interest, on what platform was the post you engaged with, and on what service do you listen to that song?

A while back I noticed that when I was the IMDb app to look up a movie, the YouTube app would inevitably start showing me heaps of stuff about that movie.

When I got a new phone, I didn’t install the apps, just used the web sites in separate browsers, almost just to test, and it hasn’t happened since.
