The wait for the Nvidia driver that brings explicit sync is killing me rn.

Tbf, the XWayland update has improved flickering quite a bit, but that driver is what will really put the nail in the coffin to this annoying bug once and for all.

What if I were to tell you that the original launch for Discord Nitro was almost LOST MEDIA

You cannot find a reupload of it anywhere on the internet, and the original YouTube video was privated.

I was originally trying to look for this video in the search of how Discord has become a more terrible quality platform over the years. I was not expecting to go on an insane search for one single video.

Okay, I decided to try some other methods. I had to break my vow of never using Twitter again in order to find the video.

Through some fine tuning of advanced search on Twitter, I was able to find the original video, from the Discord account, in one piece.

I already have archived the video. The fact this is almost lost media now is terrifying. I'm probably gonna try and find other clips that may not be on their YouTube anymore. Why was Discord trying to hide this?

On a fresh install of Windows 11, with a new browser, YouTube doesn't even bother giving you a home page of content anymore. They want you to search videos and see what you like before even giving you content.

This is not a big deal to me, but I do find it hilarious that they're not even trying anymore.

Also make that shit 64 bit. Linux Steam runs slower than Windows on my PC because of this.

the romans understood time was meaningless and just stretched hours or shrank them depending on if there was more daylight or less so the number of hours in the day remained the same

i think we should return to this system to make tracking time automatically so impossible we abandon computers altogether

I decided to download KDE Plasma 6 since it became stable. And for the first time ever, I get to use my HDR monitor on Linux.

It’s wonderful. Hopefully with KDE joining alongside other projects to deprecate XOrg, along with Noveau being very close to viable, hopefully NVIDIA will no longer be second class on Linux and will join AMD and Intel.

Kinda sucks that whenever you are just in a conversation with someone, that you can say something and you can be blocked for it. Then you end up finding much later that you got blocked, and then you ponder why you got blocked. Only to find out it was for a complete accident.

When I was in a former community, this happened quite a bit. Tbf, I was quite cringe and unlikable, but this still stings me because it just happened recently when trying to return to that community.

I take this as a red flag now. If you are honestly not willing to peacefully resolve a problem that you're having with me and you go for that instant block, you're honestly not worth talking to anyway.

It usually takes a lot for me to block someone. I understand that the block feature is a very important feature to have and why people would use it.

Perhaps it just goes back to when I used to be frequently bullied and excluded by my peers, and just getting randomly blocked out of nowhere sets off that trauma and makes me feel like I'm being excluded from a conversation, especially if its among people I like chatting with.

Maybe I'm just whining, but this seriously bothers me.
