Back to work after a few days break.
While we wait for Apple to announce Google Glass 2.0 at #wwdc, I'm experimenting with an improved post layout for @woollyapp

The Pocket app on my iPhone was automatically updated to the latest version.
I haven't seen a jankier scroll since maybe Android 4.0 in 2011.
Everything is slow and jumping all over the place.

The bluesky app is unusable for me. I follow just a handful of people, yet my timeline is a chaos of replies to people I do not follow.
How is that a good experience?
Guess I'll have to make an app just to add filters to that timeline.

These fucking companies are terrible.

What do they have to lose by putting in place a reasonable paid API plan for 3rd party devs?
And why the official apps are always garbage?

I feel for @christianselig and all the other devs that will have to shut down an app they worked on for years.

Adding something nice if you manage multiple accounts in @woollyapp: quickly replying/boosting/faving from a different account with a long press, no need to switch accounts.

Should it be concerning to me that @woollyapp app developer @mttvll has not posted to Mastodon for nearly four months?

No toots or replies on his personal or app accounts, no updates to any of the apps published in the App Store during that time.

Maybe he took a break, but people usually post that they are taking a break, rather than just disappearing.

Anyone heard from Matteo Villa? @yanlu?

A little update is already out on the App Store, fixing a couple of pretty nasty bugs.

• You can now add a column showing trending links to your main screen

Fixed timeline not loading all available posts

Fixed drafts not being saved in some cases

• different cell shade for DMs
• swipe to view multiple images when present
• always able to view entire message when replying (it cuts off eventually)

Really liking the app! Timeline control and threaded relies are fantastic!

Version 1.2 of @woollyapp is out on the App Store.

This update adds initial support for timeline position sync across devices (the option is disabled by default).

There’s also a new option to only load the most recent timeline posts when refreshing, instead of loading all available content.
This could be useful if you have a very busy home timeline and you don’t want to wait for all new posts to automatically load.
