After a couple of weeks I’m finally back at work on @woollyapp

A little update is already out on the App Store, fixing a couple of pretty nasty bugs.

  • You can now add a column showing trending links to your main screen

Fixed timeline not loading all available posts

Fixed drafts not being saved in some cases

📣 Woolly version 1.7 is now available on the App Store.

  • You can add a column to your main screen showing trending posts
  • Quickly switch between your accounts by long pressing any tab bar icon
  • Media alt description editor now correctly scrolls for longer text

This update also introduce a new lifetime purchase option.

Using Mastodon on mobile? I highly recommend using an app, and not the official one. My personal favourite is Woolly for iOS @woollyapp, many other great ones exist like Ivory or Ice Cubes.

Using Mastodon in your web browser? The native interface isn’t great, try elk.zone or phanpy.social on both mobile and desktop.

Using a computer and want an app? Woolly, Mona and Ivory are great options.

Today I’m launching S3 Files, a client for S3 compatible storage inside the Files app, share sheet, shortcuts and the Finder on Mac.

Sometimes i wish the iOS community would take note of the less famous indie devs and designers too. The ones who are struggling. I feel like it’s always the same getting the attention. Most of them deserve it and made great products. But there’s so much more and the famous ones don’t need the support as much as the underdogs. We almost have to fight for every single download.

📣 A new Woolly update is now available on the App Store.

With version 1.6 you can now see all the people that an account is following or is followed by, regardless of whether they are on the same Mastodon instance.
There's also a new option to show an alert when posting media without alt text.

I still have no words for Apollo closing down in a few days… It’s just so sad since it was one of my favorite apps of all time. I’m incredibly proud to have contributed a small part to it and I will miss it once it’s gone. Didn’t even get the chance to show this cutie… 😢

I’ve been using @woollyapp as a app for the last few days and I’m REALLY liking it.

The only thing I miss from Ivory is the annotations for when a post appears in your timeline because you’re following a hashtag.
