musaoruc,

Yes I have but it’s either pure white that burns your eyes or eye burning white letters on deep space black and I do not want that. I really want the app to either adapt to my material you theme (which is yellow-brown colored and really nice to look at I think) or give me the option to make my own theme.

musaoruc,

I think we are in the same boat. I am going to learn programming just to make apps I want to use at this point though that may not be that bad actually…

musaoruc,

Though really basic I think that’s the best one I have used but you know I had to know if there was anything I was missing.

musaoruc,

I would buy one if I could at this point. But our money is really shit right now and I am a student trying to stay alive. Thanks for the recommendation though.

How do y'all deal with programs not supported on Linux?

I’ve been seeing all these posts about Linux lately, and looking at them, I can honestly see the appeal. I’d love having so much autonomy over the OS I use, and customize it however I like, even having so many options to choose from when it comes to distros. The only thing holding me back, however, is incompatibility issues....

musaoruc,

Well you can’t really use something not useful to you. Yes Linux is very nice but at the end of the day you gotta use the thing that gets the job done.

musaoruc,

I personally love gnome. But I would not want to use it without my extensions even for a few hours. Yes upgrading they sometimes break with updates but most of the time the developers update for the new version in less than a week. Othr than that I just love the polished look and feel. Everything looks kneatly organized and clean. Ofcourse I have gripes here and there. For example the Software Center sucks even with its sleek look. It fails to get app information or check for updates too often and needs a restart. But I tried KDE too and it just doesn’t feel as nice to use. And if you feel Gnome isn’t for you than that’s great too since with Linux you have so many options. But I will stick with Gnome for the time being.

So I just caught up with Renai Daikou (mangadex.org)

I heard Aka-sensei was back at it so I thought I’d have a look. And now that I’m caught up to chapter 9, I’m willing to bet that there’s going to be an anime adaptation of this at some point. Nine chapters isn’t a lot though so obviously I don’t have much of an idea on where this is going, although I have my theories...

musaoruc,

Aka is definitely cooking something here. And I will be there to witness it whether it’ll be good or bad.

Anyone else starting to favor Flatpak over native packages?

I am currently using Linux Mint (after a long stint of using MX Linux) after learning it handles Nvidia graphics cards flawlessly, which I am grateful for. Whatever grief I have given Ubuntu in the past, I take it back because when they make something work, it is solid....

musaoruc,

When using Fedora Silverblue, there is no other option, which I do!

musaoruc,

This woman is such a mess. Just what Bocchi needs!

musaoruc,

Loved the show. The finale wasn't quite what I was expecting but still a nice ending to season. Sousuke finally settled things done with his childhood friend. Almost everyone is happy after the cultural festival. Though that doesn't mean that I don't want another season right now. This show was really putting a smile on my face every week. Can't wait for a second season.

musaoruc,

What a nice episode. Thorfinn finally getting to see his family after all those years of sorrow. Even though his sister doesn't recognize him at first it was still a wholesome episode to finish the season. Such a beautiful pay-off. Here's hoping for another beautiful third season!

musaoruc,

I use AnySoft Keyboard. It is very configurable and has a lot of language options.

musaoruc,

I love this show. It just makes me appreciate every little bit of technology that we have today every time I watch. And this episode was quite emotional to boot. Byakuya collected rare elements with everything he's got just for Senku to revive the civilization. And his efforts were not wasted. Senku finally got nitric acid to revive all of humanity starting with of course Kingdom of Science people. I can't wait for October to come and continue watching this show.

musaoruc,

Yani ne kadar gerek var tartışılır. Ama çok bilgim de yok belki gereklidir.

musaoruc,

Wow Genos really gave us all that info dump just to say he won't join if his sensei doesn't.
