😖 Zooks decided because I woke up early yesterday that 3:30 is now wake up time and head-butted me awake.

I’m obviously at the “wake up at odd hours buzzing with energy” state of Operation Sort Shit. Hmm.
Anyway woke up at 2:50 >.< and gave up at about 3 and got up to sort things out and fiddle around on Sims 2 which is all my ancient laptop will run. Am starting to feel sleepy so will keep on until I start seriously sagging.

Well getting up when the energy was buzzing was the right strategy - I’ve burned through the sorting and clearing so the old bed which was used as a general sorting spot is cleaned off, the bedside table which I’ll be using as a TV stand temporarily is cleaned out, and I have a stack of stuff ready to go to the op shop.
I’m at the zombie stage so I’ve just crawled back into bed and hopefully I’ll get some more sleep.

Good news: the auction place will take most of the furniture that can’t fit into the new place that I don’t want.
Bad news: I have to take it myself.
Good news: it should fit into the new car, and my lawn guy and occasional helper will drop by and help me load up the car.
Bad news: trying to get my Google profile for the business verified and none of the methods work. This is frustrating as I’m using the practice room as a sorting hub after I cleared it yesterday.
Good news: I stress cleared the pile of crap I scooped off the floor and slung into a very large bag and most of it is now in the bin.
Bad news: I have a headache bordering on a migrane and I really can’t stop to indulge it.
Good news: the old cooking chocolate seems to be helping. ;)

Been using the back room as a (metaphorical) crap catcher while Operation Sort Shit has been going on; it’s taken me the better part of two hours to clear and clean the floor. Oops.

Burning things is an excellent idea - I’ve found just the act releases so much emotion even if you don’t scream, cry, swear or dance around the fire in relief/release.

Got removalists arranged. Phew.
Attempts to sell extra furniture are proving futile thus far - one secondhand place fiddled me around for ages before saying no and am waiting on another. A couple more avenues of enquiry… argh. Also hard rubbish has been rearranged, partly because I didn’t leave enough room for the bins and partly because it’d been messed up when people rummaged through it. grumble

Anyone driving around Cheltenham, seems there’s two prangs - one around the Southland area and one at Centre Dande Rd- saw some flashing lights around there as I pulled in.

I’ve neglected yard maintenance with the lurgie and the fig tree has been dropping leaves early, so I’ve just spent half an hour raking the leaves into piles. Good thing I haven’t later start today.
In other news may have a buyer for the furniture I don’t want to take with me - fingers crossed!

Digging away at Operation Sort Shit after it being suspended due to the lurgie. Finally starting to think I may just get it done.
Anyway entrance to Mum’s old room cleared and photos of Nana’s old wardrobe and china taken and sent to the second hand place. Now having a breather and a coffee before I start again.

Ouch. Was clearing some stuff on the bottom shelf of the bookcase and it tilted forward enough that something fell off a higher shelf and whacked me right on the bridge of my glasses.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s bruised tomorrow.
