In London for a trip. I forgot how bad the water tastes.

@rposbo :) I thought I could taste it

Does anyone have any OpenAPI (in JSON ideally) documents?

I'm looking at testing something but I'd like a relatively simple API to work with first.

paul,
@paul@status.kinlan.me avatar

@mrtnvh @lucienimmink Thanks. It helps. I was looking for something with live APIs that I can test a tool against (I found api.guru) which works for now (along with the spec repo)

@bino cool thank you.

@mrtnvh @lucienimmink oh, that's great. Thank you.

We've (Chrome) enabled desktop mode by default on premium Android Tablets

@tlhunter good spot. I think we have a fix going out shortly.

One of the downsides of switching over our beloved http://web.dev to Google's own DevSite CMS is that it doesn't offer RSS.

To plug that gap I created (unofficial) endpoints using a CloudFlare worker:

Source available on https://github.com/bramus/web-dev-rss

@AmeliaBR @simevidas @bramus @pepelsbey It's neither of those. I needed the team to get the migration on the infrastructure completed before the end of last week and we knew the target infra didn't support this natively, and we'd have to work on an interim solution.

paul,
@paul@status.kinlan.me avatar

@AmeliaBR @simevidas @bramus @pepelsbey I should add that this was for web.dev and developer.chrome.com

In this episode of @linuxmatters we discuss:

  • Publishing blog posts to the Fediverse with help from @crepels 's ActivityPub.academy and @paul's blog.
  • Writing Rust code without knowing Rust.
  • Resurrecting a NextCloud Box and using it for something new.

@marxjohnson @linuxmatters @crepels Thanks for including my post. If you want to chat about your implementation feel free to hit me... It was certainly a journey to try and get it working.

Also, happy to discover a new podcast to listen to.

@malarkey I was kinda surprised it came out like that :D It did look nice, only ruined by my hacking cough from this cold I have.

Is viewport-fit attributes in the <meta name='viewport'> used by Safari spec'ed anywhere?

paul,
@paul@status.kinlan.me avatar

@cheeaun Right, but that's not actually implemented anywhere, right? At least according to MDN? (https://udn.realityripple.com/docs/Web/CSS/@viewport/viewport-fit)

Has anyone got any experience using native fetch in Node?

Every time I try and use it I get "throw new TypeError(context + " is not a ReadableStream.");
^

TypeError: First parameter has member 'readable' that is not a ReadableStream."

paul,
@paul@status.kinlan.me avatar

@thisismissem 20 and 21

paul,
@paul@status.kinlan.me avatar

@thisismissem actually it's not every time I use it.... I just tried it straight from node and it works, which suggests it's something in the module I'm using .... I'll check more first :)

paul,
@paul@status.kinlan.me avatar

@thisismissem I think another library is patching ReadableStream for async itterator support.
