I wonder how much that building would cost today with the dramatic increase in building costs.

@jpmens That cost back then was supposedly extraordinary. Compared with other buildings I would expect the cost today to be at least ten fold.

    @jpmens @stucchimax In vielen Fällen bedeutet es genau das, aber sicher nicht allen. Nicht jede "Kasse" stellt einen Bon/Quittung aus.

    Es gibt bestimmt auch noch andere Beweggründe der Kartenzahlung Riegel vorzuschieben.

    A few weeks ago I took my phone case off my iPhone 15 Pro Max and I haven't looked back since.

    Feels like I've been reborn again, a born again caseless!

    Try it, you won't regret it unless your butter fingers ass is used to dropping your phone like my partner is, in that CASE...

    Can’t wait to ship this, now it’s open sourced we can target F-Droid and more!

    Strassenbahn in Barcelona mit gruenen Gleisbetten. 2km Strecke entsprechen der Begruenung von 1.5 Fussballfeldern.

    Und genau die binden dann Emissionen und kuehlen die Staedte ab. Eigentlich gar nicht so kompliziert, die Nummer mit der "Smart, Green City", oder?

    Loops will be limited to Android and iOS, with the exception of video links which will have web previews.

    I don't have the bandwidth to support web, and this enables us to build much richer experiences like AR Filters!

    Als ich vor einer Woche den N-TV Artikel mit meinen Statements zu Tesla & der einbrechenden Nachfrage auf LinkedIn gepostet habe... ich denke das Feedback aus der Blase des Kults koennt ihr euch vorstellen.

    Das wird ein umfangreiches "Hallo Wach"-Erlebnis in diesem Jahr. Vor allen Dingen fuer die, die auch ihre Ersparnisse in dieser Company versenkt haben.

    @pallenberg Ich verstehe es nicht! Wieso kritisierst du in dem Zusammenhang nicht die FDP, die das EU-Verbrenner-Aus mit dem dämlichen eFuel-Kompromiss gekippt hat und nachhaltig dazu beiträgt dass die Nachfrage nach EV zurückkgeht? Vollelektrisch ist nachweislich die effizientste Art ein Auto anzutreiben. Dass die Politik hier für Unsicherheit sorgt um die eigene Clientel und heimische Autoindustrie zu schützen, das wäre etwas was du deinem Publikum aufzeigen könntest. Statt nur Elon zu bashen.

    @jpmens Had a similar experience. Can only think of some weird batch-processing going on, instead of real time pipelines. Or they have some serious bottlenecks in infrastructure.

    @Gargron Additionally to light/dark, I'd prefer a "system default" setting that respects the setting of the OS. I change between light/dark during day and night time. Would be neat if Mastodon adapted automagically, like other pages do.

    Fuer @ntv habe ich ein paar Analysen hinterlassen und versucht zu erklaeren woran das liegt.

    Zusammengefasst: die naechsten 18 Monate werden richtig hart fuer den ehemaligen Pionier, der rechts und links ueberholt wird.

    @pallenberg Es ist schade dass du den immensen Wettbewerbsvorteil des Supercharger-Netzwerks immerzu vernachlässigst. Niemand hat bisher, was das Gesamtpaket angeht, Tesla überholt. Weder in den westlichen Industrieländern, noch in Asien. Disclaimer: Ich fahre Tesla und würde mir auch in 2024 kein anderes Auto kaufen.

    @pallenberg Dann sehen wir in 18 Monaten nochmal. Ich lese raus dass du niemals Langstrecke mit Tesla gefahren bist. Die UX ist die beste die es auf dem Markt gibt. Gebrauchtwagenpreise und Wertverlust spielen für mich keine Rolle. Preise sind das eine, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis das andere. Und wieviel deiner Leser leisten sich ein Taycan (ab 100.000 €)?

    @pallenberg Dass du ein Elon-Hater bist, ist bekannt. Das hat aber vermutlich weniger mit Tesla als mit Twitter zu tun. Ist dir überlassen.

    Dass es aber ohne Tesla keine Elektromobilität gäbe, dass Tesla diesen Markt erst geschaffen hat, ist unbestritten. Abseits von unsicheren Aktienportfolios, ist der Marke Tesla dadurch einen Platz in den Geschichtsbüchern sicher. Und bei aller Kontroverse, auch dem CEO. Ohne Tesla würden wir noch die nächsten 100 Jahre Benziner fahren. Trotz Klimawandel.

    Inzwischen weiss ich auch was dieses "bis zu" in den Vertraegen von deutschen ISPs bedeutet. Klar, bis 1Gbit koennte es sein... ist es aber nicht. Auch bei den bis zu 500Mbit Upload hat man ein wenig eingespart 🤐

    P.S. Mit dem "bis zu" wird natuerlich nicht geworben.. das steht erst auf Seite 3 oder 4. Ich bin durch 15 Jahre Taiwan so naiv geworden!
