Can you imagine if a major studio in the leisure, arts, and entertainment industry launched a product that wasnโt a rehash, reboot, or remake? Imagine a blockbuster movie or game that isnโt the 10th installment of a franchise๐คฏ
@pephorror ugh this. And for real. I KNOW there are new ideas around. It's just the studios want what they THINK are guaranteed moneymakers so they go with the reboots and sequels, just watering everything down more
They turned #MadMax into a Disney-Marvel like crap. No rhythm, no cool design, no blood, not metal at all. After loving #FuryRoad more than any other movie of its decade, this #Furiosa is SO disappointing. The only movie of the whole saga that is boring and slow.
@jake4480 I don't know man, I'd been this week really looking forward to it, we watched all the other movies during the week, wife and I full of hype but we both ended quite disappointed (specially me ๐ ). I don't want to make spoilers but I'll say that we got the impression that they put more effort in having an overdose of easter eggs of the saga than in designing crazy machines and cool crazy action scenes ๐คท
@pephorror that is supremely weird after Fury Road ๐ I always go in not expecting much because some recent movies have been kinda crap. That's a shame and I'm sure we'll see other similar reviews hahaha
@jake4480 I told him that I'd think about joining them if they send me a starter kit including that cool golden illuminati pin I saw in his profile. He stopped replying ๐
@Kitty it was long time ago but she said something transphobic really awful and I tweeted something about it. I don't remember it being rude or remarkable in any way.
Never thought about it but I guess that Terminator 2 had even a bigger impact in my life than I thought. I was 9 or 10 yo at the time and I'm realising now that since then most of the days of my life I had wear basically same Edward Furlong/John Connor outfit: jeans, very similar shirts, and Public Enemy t-shirts ๐
Is my style just a John Connor cosplay by subconscious choice? ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
@wendigo@Kitty@pephorror nooo hahaha. I had it long in the 90s and then kinda shorter and shorter until I had my kid, longer again, then yeah shorter when we met but now I figure it's probably just longer forever. As much as it bugs me sometimes, it can be hot, a pain to wash.. but, yknow, gotta keep the wife happy. It has.. certain benefits. hahahaha. I look at a dude like Keith Morris, it's down past his knees now I think, I have no idea how he does that. Gotta be a lot of work ๐
The world is each day a stupider place than the day before:
