    One of my Oxford tutors said that empathy was my super power as an historian. But I also tend to be hyper rational and detached. Seeing โ€˜both sidesโ€™ on any topic was key to my career. Not sure how these connect butโ€ฆ I tend not to feel some things at the same time & place others say they do. I could (and did) stand in front of the ovens at Auschwitz feeling nothing in particular when others were talking of auras/spirits/all the horror they felt. +

    @snowonmars I haven't been to Auschwitz, but a few years ago I worked on a project that had me building a Quarantine Station from the 1850s in a virtual world. Of course, not even close to the same scale of horror at all .. but what you're saying about how people react differently to place/space, and history really rings true.

    @snowonmars Visiting the site was spooky, but fairly unemotional for me. Some of my colleagues were shook by it. But it was the documents and letters that broke me. Artefacts I had to make for students to engage with in digital form that were so harsh in their bureaucratic matter-of-factness. Eeek!

    @og There are some dance references, but the main one is the blue suit.

    As this track brought Psy back to western audiences a little bit, you could argue this reference is about killing off the Gangnam trope and showing a new PSY .. or Yoongi just won in the rap battle ๐Ÿ˜‚
