Friend H doesn't like Friend C because of past history (Friend C was a bad buyer and took a long time paying the full amount required). C is currently undergoing hard times, so is not in a position to change H's opinion of her. I am caught in between. I wonder how I am still able to keep both of them my friends. I just know how hard it was for C to ask for help, and that she is currently working her butt off to afford things. H is privileged, so doesn't see that part of C's life. 1/n

Instead, H has been talking to her other friends, who now have the same judgment of C, which makes it hard for her to be in the same group. But C has a new set of helpful friends, who don't judge her, for which I'm glad. H doesn't see why I don't want to turn C away. C and I are close. H is not a bad person herself, just morally rigid and uptight. I told H, you're not going to change your mind about C, so just leave her alone. 2/n

But H for some reason likes to keep tabs on C's social media. She knows when C has new things, or has received gifts, etc. I asked her, why are you so invested in this? She's not interfering in your life, leave her alone. Or are you just bored and need something to judge? I expected H to get mad at me, but astonishingly she said, "I saw she had new things when she could barely pay X what she owed, so I had to talk to you." I said, those were from an x-deal at work, nothing to do with you. 3/n

I said, if C doesn't owe X anything right now, what's it to you? Sure, she had a hard time paying off her debt but she paid it. You could just decide not to lend anything next time, instead of all this suspicion and blamestorming. C's new friends pooled together items for a garage sale to help her out, and it's out of the goodness of their hearts. So leave her alone. Finally H let it go. I told C about it and she cried and said it's all she could do to keep holding on. 4/n

I mean, just to be right, are you going to stop other people from helping another person who needs it? I don't understand all the hate. As if H and her friends had nothing better to do. They don't bully her, they just have this overweening air of disapproval. Anyway C just got a gig from a retailer, so I hope that solves some of her recent woes. 5/5

I was searching for Youtube stats for BTS music videos, so I could figure out which ones are close to the 1 Billion views mark. Then which ones are close to the 100 Million views mark. So if I was feeling industrious and wanted to stream, I'd probably view those.

It’s been a long day (it started at 5:30 with a call to my publisher) so I’m going lazy for . I also just got my Recipe Tin Eats cookbook, so I’m trying one of the recipes in there - Teriyaki Beef Bowls! This is not authentic (it has beef mince), but I’m guessing it will be tasty, so don’t judge 😋

I need to pack fountain pens for a big pen meet on Saturday. I don't really have a theme or anything to follow. Maybe I'll bring my Sailor Pro Gear Slim minis and Jinhao 82 minis, because they're cute. Plus the pen case of currently inked pens. And some vials of ink samples to share.

Sometimes I should resist the urge to be helpful. People ask for advice or information and when you present it, they then mock your effort. Like, did you need the info or not? Why bother asking? It's annoying. But I've marked this person as someone I will never again respond to ever. I just can't leave the group chat because I find it a useful place to get information for my purposes.

Our cook brought a tiny basket of our (almost neon) green makopa (Java apple, or Syzygium samarangense) for dessert. It's so sweet! We also have pink and white makopa, but these green ones are the sweetest. They're crisp, sweet and juicy. You can tell by the number of ants hiding in the crevices of the fruit.

Ang mga Pinoy talaga. Nakalagay na nga Private Property pasok pa rin ng pasok. I had to direct guests AWAY from our house (which is separated by a wall and a gate that has a Private Property Do Not Enter sign) and back to the events area.
