Lmao, our hotel for next weekend in Montreal (Formula 1 weekend) has cancelled our booking because they are "overbooked"

We booked last July, and they are informing us 1 week before arrival?!

To me, it sounds like it's because I booked before they had the chance to hike their rates. And now I have to scramble to find somewhere else.

SwiftUI question: I have a fairly simple screen. I have a Text view that I want to always be vertically centered on the screen.

I then want to have other Views above and below that Text view.

Is there an easy way to do that? I don't want to vertically center the entire VStack, just the middle Text view. Or do I need to do some funky stuff with ZStack?

Now that I'm localising Söka into 30 different languages, I also have to translate App Store metadata & screenshots. Automating my screenshots has been something I've put off for far too long.

Now I finally have the motivation to do it! The first part is done: write UI tests to open the correct screens and take the screenshots.

Still to do:

• Make the screenshots look pretty - I'll be trying to do that with Picasso
• Automate uploading & adding to ASC

This is probably the tidiest my desk will ever be, so here’s my setup in my brand new office!

Swapped the desk top from MDF to solid live edge dark walnut. Thankfully the standing desk can still handle the extra weight!

Now I need to decorate the rest of the room

We're pretty much a month out from our next adventure!

I've been calling this our "Ancient Civilisation" tour as we're heading to Egypt, Rome, Athens, and then a small handful of Greek islands.

Seeing the Pyramids and visiting the Valley of the Kings have been on my bucket list since I was literally a kid. I had puzzles and books all based on Ancient Egypt, and then my passion was reignited with Assassin's Creed: Origins. I can't wait!
