Do old phones just sound better?

So I’ve been messing around with a few phones lately, a nexus 6p, a pixel 3a xl, and a s21 ultra, and I’ve noticed that on the 6p and 3a xl both sound louder, punchier, and clearer when compared to the s21 ultra. They also both have that thicc notch design with a massive speakerphone which might add to the high volume...

potentiallynotfelix,

valid point, but you would expect a flagship phone from 2021 to at least compete with a lower end phone from 2019

The app is open source just not under a good license like the gpl. I might even speak to the dev about transitioning to a license like GPL or MIT.

The unlawful killer of two or more victims by the same offender in separate events.

potentiallynotfelix,

Are you a serial killer too?

potentiallynotfelix,

yes that app looks very good, I wish it was klondlike not freecell

potentiallynotfelix,

To add detail - I believe it does the full poweroff process and doesn’t completely crash, the only time i saw the poweroff happen it showed an ubuntu touch logo before powering off.

potentiallynotfelix,

yes it is now closed, must have only been open for a minute

what does "show assistant recommendations" mean?

If you go to setting>sound and vibration>media you see a setting called “Show assistant media recommendations” which is “based off of your activity”. Because Assistant is capitalized, I assume it refers to google assistant. I have no gapps, so i dont have google assistant. anybody have ideas about this?
