i know there's a trope that people get more conservative as they age, and it exists for a reason, but: my mom occupied buildings with sds when she was in college, and now she's in her 70s and dying of cancer and she told me she's sorry she cant march for palestine

she's also filled me in on which local acquaintances are homophobes and not invited to her celebration of life, lmaooo

question for crafty friends: i want to get a small craft project kit that will give me something to do when i'm waiting at the cancer center / while my mom sleeps

however i am clueless and don't know which craft to choose. embroidery? cross stitch (what's even the difference, lol)? crochet? other??

it just needs to be very simple. for a dumb, tired person who is VERY bad at crafts. idc what i make, even, this is 100% about the process.

favourite performance

I know I'm not the only person to choose this. I've also debated, & asked daughter opinion. I have no overall favourite but this one, & why.

It was early on in my 2021 BTS watching. I now realise 2019 - 21 is less time to 21 - now, making it quite recent when I actually watched and went: Horses? What is going on? What is all this?

Then went & learnt about the God Dionysus. I've learnt so much from BTS.

@asya @Tae156 jk reminds me a lot of one of my youngest cousins (who is also annoyingly good at everything, but in a super charming way) -- he may have an actual phd now, but he will always be the baby of the family, and we tease him accordingly (with luv)

day 28: i wanted to come up with an interesting answer, but i have to be honest, any bangtan setlist is my dream setlist. they could play rock paper scissors for three hours and i'd be happy if i was there to see it.

that said, if sope do huh?! live, i will evaporate (in a good way).

my first memory of bts is a conversation with someone who was describing their ptd:la experience. it sounded so special, and unlike anything else i'd ever heard about. i went home, typed "bts live performance" into youtube search, bumbled my way through dozens of fancams and dance practices, and then asked myself that fateful question: "what are their names?"

adding on to this to say, the person i was talking to told me how she met an older lady, a grandma, who'd gone alone to the concert. they stayed in touch and still texted occasionally. that particular detail really caught my attention and made me think this wasn't just any old concert or any old band.
