uneventful picture of the current permutation of my regular breakfast, featuring horseradish on my greek yogurt, an eaten radish, and arugala sprouts. growing boy needed to add an extra hashbrown patty and sausage so I don't get immediately starving in 2 hours

I love summer up north because I can blackout the sun when I sleep during the day but still get a little morning sunlight on late nights... I should alternate where I live seasonally and live down in (does a bunch of googling) I guess the very tip of argentina or new zealand for even a fraction of the polar night you get up here.. interesting...

Have trouble making your bed? Buy a futon and floor platform that should be stripped and rolled up every day and aired out once a week. You will not regret buying a futon that requires 10x more work to make the bed

This is phrased like the meme that implies that I do regret this, but I just couldn't find another way to phrase the fact that I do enjoy it and it is a nice part of getting ready in the morning. Morning is my favorite part of the day so it seems that adding tasks to the morning is slowly making me able to have a longer more productive day

I was looking up examples of people repainting plastic kids dollhouses and playsets, and found a guys site where he was using old castle sets for a hogwarts model train set design. then down at the bottom he has links to all his other train stuff and a bunch of music stuff. his long article on the history of folk music isn't the most race informed but tries at it, it does mention seeger and guthrie being socialist and doing union stuff. then I click on a page about some type of train and it says he's removed all that info because the company did layoffs so he doesn't recommend them anymore

for the first time in awhile, a random cooking tip on reddit has badly failed me

I googled, how to make my frozen sweet potato fries less mushy. people said: toss them with corn starch + spices. other people said: it didn't come out even and made a puffy coating. well I don't want that. someone else said, mix the corn starch + spices with olive oil to make a 'slurry'. Well I love a slurry. I tried the slurry. it came out wet

I am hungry and it's not inedible so, I am eating it. But it definitely is sweet potatos coated in a spicy wet corn starch solution.

trying birthday cake hersheys:

I do like fun flavored white chocolate on occasion, and I like birthday cake ice cream, so wanted to try it. Uh. It's more like pure frosting flavor with sprinkles in it. Very mild vanilla flavor, no buttercream type flavor which to me is THE KEY to a good birthday cake flavor. Just kind of a sugar bar. The sprinkle texture is fun. But I'd rather just be eating the fruity pebbles white chocolate bar.

I used to think, I don't like watching food reviews, but I would enjoy doing them. I love to eat. But I don't think I have much to say. But everytime I post about food I go on for 5 hours

a good white chocolate bar is very creamy and milky. imo. people complain about white chocolate being flavorless and I disagree, but this bar is a bad example

my guy really put this stuff on top of his nachos, under/mixed in the cheese, before putting it in the oven

thankfully it wasn't very much and there was a ton of beef so its still edible, he accidentally made a ton so he offered me some and I'm starving (long day) so I had some. and I was grateful and said thank you but I did let him know multiple times that there's something wrong with this
