@gustav
Many times when a user is using an m-site, they are directed via deep link to the App Store to download the app, with no warning. (USA)
However, if the user was using the m-site, it is unlikely they want to download the app, ex. they only intend to use it once. They would be giving up lots of permissions for low utility.
The reason companies do it is because developing for m-site is along with app is expensive.
Disliking deep links is a utility and privacy issue.

Different attitudes about women
implicit bias
stricter immigration laws since 2016
influx of refugees making countries not want new people
weak economic climate many places
language barriers
housing supply issues
banking issues (tax as well)
work culture issues (compared to Silicon Valley)
workplace and degree equivalency issues
Growing nationalist movements in many countries (Italy, Netherlands, etc.)
Cultural nuances that are not well explained
Different attitudes towards society more generally
America’s PR problem
America’s war problem
General diplomatic climate worldwide
Women’s safety and security
Sense of fear that is building worldwide
Lastly, men who ask “wut problems?” are the reason the US is regarded negatively. The ignorance and lack of nuance is astounding.
