Hi @roptat, I’m setting up gitile and notice its self-hosted homepage at https://git.lepiller.eu/gitile is currently down (gateway time-out).

Thanks. There's some kind of issue with it, it keeps going down after some time… The shepherd doesn't log the error though, so it's hard to debug. You can still clone the repos, as they are served by gitolite

For disabling nginx, we would need some more change, maybe if nginx is #f, don't add the extension service?

J'ai participé :). J'ai eu un petit bug devant C. d. N. (Côtes du Nord, l'ancien nom des Côtes d'Armor), et pas sûr de l'abréviation "Matelot h. d. s.". Une idée ?

I had to share this neat trick. I like playing and since I heard of the JGR patchset, I wanted to try it. Not packaged in , but you can still get it (relatively) easily:

guix build openttd --with-git-url=openttd=https://github.com/JGRennison/OpenTTD-patches --with-branch=openttd=jgrpp --without-tests=openttd

bedifare, to guix

Someone suggested a different OS called .

It looks like it requires an internet connection just to install! All the internet connections I have access to are really untrustworthy. Its why I use Tor browser for basically everything. The installer will not be using Tor tho I'm pretty sure, hahaha

Its gonna be a few weeks before I can talk to him now. Does anyone know how to install Guix without internet connection??

But that just doesn't use the official build farm, meaning you'll download sources. I don't think we have a good solution for that, the installer is meant to install arbitrary systems, so it'll always be missing something.

We could run tor in the installer by adding the service and generating a new install image. It shouldn't be too hard, but not realistic for a new user.

Reading section 3.2, it seems the trick is to --disable everything at build time and remove localization.
