At this point it's transcended any racist connotation as people have mistakenly picked it up without realizing, and it's a meme

@conditional_soup If you've heard of the one child policy here's a fun fact none of you "China watchers" know. Most regions and/or minority groups did not get affected. If you were Han or anything in Tibet, or a minority any placd, you could be fruitful and multiply. Just an example of how China deliberately gives minority groups boosted democratic representation, healthcare access, training, and cultural representation. Which is what responsible nations should do (glaring at indian res)

@bobburger @PugJesus Yea, the Belt and Road initiative is extremely important for breaking low income nations out of the US's IMF+World Bank debt slavery. We don't allow nations to develop food self-sufficiency, nationalize their resources, provide state-run social services like healthcare, on pain of withholding IMF loans and other forms of investment for political reasons. BRI also injects cash into the economy which aid does not. Western aid is economically polarizing.
