Any tips on how to connect a WordPress form to Google Sheets without a 3rd party premium service?

I have a form that is rarely used by people (usually older folks) who want marketing mailed to them instead of email. The best way to do this is to have a form where they input their mailing info and have it connect to a Google spreadsheet.

Unless there's a better solution?

I don't want to have another annual plugin subscription to do this.

Which browser do you use and recommend?

I've been a hardcore Firefox user since it came out a billion years ago, but I'm increasingly noticing that it takes a ton of resources, especially on my MacBook.

I have the ActivityPub plugin set up (for a while now), and everything appears to be correct, but my posts (regular posts & IndieBlocks 'Notes') are not being published to the profile (@blog)

What is the best way for me to troubleshoot this?

I'm still having issues with Brevo and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for an alternative.

This is primarily connected to an e-commerce site to inform customers of new products, sales, and pre-orders with approximately 90k subscribers.

From what I can tell:

  1. can handle a large number of subscribers

  2. work easily with WooCommerce

  3. nice templates as a campaign is sent out 1-2x a month

  4. suited for e-commerce so we can track customers from getting email - opening email - making a purchase, etc.

  5. solid reports with a bunch of stats

I hope that made sense!

    @chris Oh it's quite literally all she and I talk about lately.

    Their paychecks were delayed for a few days, and they found all of this new stuff via the news. The staff isn't being told anything by management.

    I feel that having the CEO be in their twenties was not the right move. They don't have enough experience professionally or in life to run something of this magnitude.

    @chris People have been leaving in droves since the buyout last summer.

    Instead of hiring local nurses, they paid 10x the rate for travel nurses. They cut benefits. They limited the hours people can work.

    It's a mess!

    Tomorrow is yet another doctor appt after they rescheduled me 3x and pushed me from eight weeks to almost six months... but tomorrow evening, I have an appt to get my ears pierced!

    I am getting the 2nd & 3rd lobes done on each ear. I couldn't be more excited!!!

    My mental health is getting worse since, apparently, not dealing with my parents dying suddenly & within 4 months of each other isn't great for depression.

    I've decided to do my best to focus on reading again.

    I've always been a reader, & a fast one at that, it's more about getting into the habit of it again.

    Per Goodreads, I've read 5 books so far in 2024. My goal is to read 75 books this year.

    I like Goodreads because it's established, connects to my Kindle, but wish it could be better.

    @chris I couldn't do it. I need to freeze to be able to sleep, and on the reverse side, with my migraines, one trigger is heat.

    I have the thermostat set to 72 currently to compensate for the cold and the shitty windows, and it's killing me, LOL!

    @chris ohhh no!!!

    My twin sister, her husband, and niece all got COVID for the second time two weeks ago.

    Granted, my BIL probably got it from work (he works in the ER) as he was positive first, but still.

    I worry that they will get long COVID or worse each time they get it.

    I personally freak out all the time about catching it, because of all the "YOU WILL DIE" speeches from my different doctors since March 2020 heh.
