Dude, yesrerday my fucking manager claimed that a local high school has a litterbox because a student identifies as a cat. It was almost bar for bar the same fake story that Joe Rogan was saying months ago! I had to tell the other coworker in the room at the time that I’m almost positive that it’s not true and where the lie comes from.
People keep talking about “Federalizing the National Guard” and now you’ve got other States pledging their NG to Texas in defiance of the Supreme Court (see image)....
I mean, for the most part. You would have 13 months of 28 days with 1 leftover. Make that one new year or something. Leap years would just have another straggler day, lump that in with new year I guess.
The moon thing is wrong though. The moon does not operate on a 28 day cycle.
As for Monday being the 1st and Sunday the 28th, that wouldn’t matter at all. Any day could be the start of the month.
I haven’t played multiplayer in years so I’m not sure how it is but as far as I can tell it should be fine. If you haven’t ever played, there are some really frustrating bugs that will most likely never get fixed (things like items and vehicles falling through the terrain) but overall it is pretty fun and relaxing
As someone who just played horizon zero dawn and wound up loving it, what was your issue with Forbidden West?
I know at the beginning of Zero Dawn I wasn’t really digging the story, and it unfortunately took a while to get better, but when it did it was really good. I was glad the mechanics were enjoyable for me or else I wouldn’t have stuck around long enough
100% this. I almost dropped it because it took half of the main quest line to do anything interesting. But once I got there I was enamored. My friend and I just played through the game for the first time and we both had the same opinion: the story of what is currently happening is boring. The story of what happened in the past to get to this point is amazing. They did a bad job of making me care about the present day characters.
Big note for anyone who doesn’t know: the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility is only for a portion of the 360 library. There is a list of games that are compatible, including original Xbox games.
Also, if you have the disc, you will have to install games just like all other Xbox one games. But the games do not install from the disc. The disc is just the license key, and you will need an internet connection so it can download the game.
How it works is that it’s not exactly the same game, but a modified version for the Xbox one console. But this can come with performance enhancements and sometimes upscaling to make them look way better than they would on their respective system.
Very cool thing that Microsoft did, but do not expect any more games to be added on the list. Last I saw, they were done expanding the list.
For me it’s Chrono Trigger. I always want to play it. I want to show it to my children. I hope it will be regarded as a masterpiece for generations to come.
The PS3 emulator, RPCS3, runs most of the entire Ratchet and Clank series very well. The only ones I really had issues with were A Crack in Time (it’s just not as optimized) and Into the Nexus (again, not too optimized, but more so. Had some frame rate issues). RPCS3 is only getting better and better!
I’ve played quite a few games and have only had major issues with a couple. A lot of times there is a patch available in some way for issues, or a setting to change, but these are almost always listed on the RPCS3 wiki so it makes it super simple. Of all of the emulators that I have used over the years, this one is by far my favorite!
The epitome of what I’m trying to refer to is the Playdead games (Limbo and Inside). Dark Souls and BioShock both hit on this idea but not quite so directly. The game BADLAND is also a great example of this, too. The mobile game The Silent Age also did this exceptionally well. Never quite knowing what’s going on, and maybe...
I second this. I bought this game around 2016 and have also never finished. I absolutely love the concept, but it just feels so eerie that it makes me too anxious to finish.
One thing to add to the previous comment is that this game has a survival element to it. You can adjust how tough you want it to be though. So you have to monitor things like hydration, hunger, warmth, sleep, and saturation. It’s not super complex or anything, I just feel it’s worth mentioning that it exists in the game since some people don’t like survival games.
Very interesting game, a lot of secrets and things to explore. I CONSTANTLY want to go back and give it another shot thinking “this is the time I’ll stop being so creeped out by this game” maybe I’ll just have to get some Xanax and try again. I think I made it halfway through one time…

What are some good games with a creepy/eerie atmosphere but not outright horror?
