Edit: mein Kommentar war etwas missverständlich formuliert. Das mit der guten Werbung war Sarkasmus. Ich hätte tatsächlich evtl nie davon erfahren wenn nicht so viele Maimais darüber gemacht worden wären. Ich glaube aber leider dass durch die ganze negative Aufmerksamkeit insgesamt mehr Leute zu dem Unter gezogen werden.
Ich glaube wenn man dem ganzen einfach keine Beachtung schenken würde wären die 5-10 Nutzer einfach unter sich geblieben.

The title is pretty misleading. Alternative proteins can replace 100% of the meat right now. What the article is referring to are proteins that look and taste like meat. Those are not necessary for everyday protein intake.

Niemand hat gesagt, es ist mist. Es ist jedem persönlich überlassen, wohin er wenn überhaupt Geld spendet und es gibt sehr viele Organisationen die das Geld sehr sehr sehr viel dringender benötigen und deutlich mehr damit bewirken können.
Also vorweg erstmal: wenn man für etwas spendet, ist es auch einem selbst überlassen für was und mit wenigen Ausnahmen ist es auch grundsätzlich irrelevant für was.
Sorry aber das sehe ich ganz anders. Du sprichst wahrscheinlich von einzelnen Kleinprojekten die man unterstützen kann, bei “gemeinnützigen Organisationen” verhält sich das aber komplett anders. Es ist ja wohl allgemeinbekannt dass, sehr viele nicht das mit gespendeten Geldern anstellen, was sie behaupten. Häufig landen deine “2 Döner im Monat” dann in der Tasche von den Leuten, die sowieso schon um ein vielfaches mehr haben als du. Dafür gibt es bspw. Organisationen wie Givewell, die Projekte auf legitimität und effektivität prüfen.
Ich finde sehr wichtig, sich damit auseinander zu setzen, wohin man spendet und was mit dem Geld geschieht.
Hm, vielleicht habe ich auch deinen Kommentar davor falsch interpretiert. Ich habe mich auf die Aussage ‘es ist irrelevant wofür’ bezogen, da es sehr wohl einen Unterschied macht wohin man spendet. Scheint mir aber dass du irrelevant in dem Sinne meintest, dass es niemanden etwas angeht?

Dont get me wrong though, Im definitely not saying big pollutors sholdnt be held responsible. And obviously youre already contributing to the cause.

Obviously not all of them, just like not every single person would abuse superpowers. But the numbers are still orders of magnitude higher than everywhere without weapons, even though shooting someone still has consequences unlike doing shit while invisible.
