really wish the internet was as interoperable as designed, so I could see all my friends posts on various platforms (X, Threads, Masto, Instagram Stories, Facebook, etc) in the one spot now that everyone's been shaken out of the Twitter tree and settled on their little patch of internet land

    @decryption are any of those Apple ones 15W USB-A? Or did they only go up to 10W?

    @decryption sounds right. I think what I have now for USB-A are 5W, but I’m not sure.

    @decryption they had a cash back offer thing a few months back and we bought two for our home offices. Love them - quiet, powerful, and efficient. Perfect for smaller rooms.

    I’m contemplating starting my own business.

    I need:

    1. A basic website - landing page, ability to let people download some standard forms, not much else.

    2. Email on the same custom domain as the website.

    3. Someone with creativity to do some basic design for the above.

    Suggestions on where to start are greatly appreciated!

    I’m looking at Xero for managing bills, contacts, and invoicing.

    Would the two talk to each other if I needed them to? Eg enquiry form on the website creates a contact in Xero.

    Can anyone in IT explain to me why scheduled maintenance can’t be done at 3am when the chances of someone needing the system are at their lowest?

    (Instead of evenings / weekend days when people often need to work)
