Proton is awesome!!! Just don't use it as your primary contact. There are sites that block proton by default, because "only crimms need that kind of privacy, honest people don't need to hide their activity" [yes that has been said to me that way]

I, myself, have not given up Proton at all, I just use Gmail for anything "official".

Group Death, err Group Health, now Kaiser Permanente is one of those agencies that flat out refused proton, and gave me the crimms shit

Evergreen, who handles my mental health care also refused Proton.

Comcast also refused Proton, and has insisted my usage of Proton across their network is a violation of the ToS, then again they insist my usage of mega is also a violation of the ToS [I don't care, I still use them both].
