Oddly enough, I managed to find some really cheap gum. Usually $4.50 on sale at the shops but I got 6x bottles / packs of it for 12 bucks. Pretty happy finding little bargains like that!

SMH lets you view 4-5 articles a month and then it becomes an annoying paywall. Using something like 12ft seems to get rid of it and also strips out the advertising and bloat, giving you a nice article
People have been highly vocal about de-federating from XYZ instance because they're "transphobia", "nazis" or something else they object to.
People should be looking at the tools they currently have, blocking communities/magazines or whole domains, that way content you don't like is hidden just for you, without impacting anyone else.
Banhammers on an admin level should be a method of last resort

I've got no solution for it besides hiding which places federate with who, but by looking at the content you'd be about to make an educated guess anyway
