I'll be looking at a range of sites to see how the population distribution pans out. I'm mostly looking for a busy, populated site with comments.
Kbin seems nice overall, but could use more engagement
I've had a look at https://tildes.net/ but it looks like they're not interested in rapidly growing, they're more concerned about selecting people manually to see if they fit the 'culture' of the site, fair it's their own space I guess.
squabbles.io seems to have a really active dev and looks like a good mix of reddit and Twitter, it seems active and looks like it might be the best candidate to take on the refugees from Reddit.
Does anyone else have multiple accounts while looking for new reddit alts? So far I've got accounts on Lemmy, kbin, and Squabbles and I've been lurking on Raddle, Sqwok, and Tildes from the outside....
Keeping an eye out for the next best thing to move onto. I've got no confidence that Reddit will actively improve the API situation so it's probably time to flee, I'm not keen on being forced to used a subpar app just because they want to nuke the competition
A lot subreddits end their blackout tomorrow. Will you go back to Reddit, or continue with kbin and the Fediverse?
I haven't used Reddit at all since the blackout began. Even if they change course, the Fediverse is growing on me, and I think I'll stay here....
