Today's sprint race was incredible!

So much on track action, Hulkenberg's early brilliance betrayed by his tires, Ocon defending for his life, the four car battles further down the field and the uncertainty about pit strategy, overtakes all race long and best of all, no crashes, no safety cars, no red flags!...

These races need a bit of chaos it seems, because that was great.

Someone needs to stuff some sandbags in Max’s side pods or something. Even he sounds bored on the radio at the end.

I enjoyed that though.

The Quantum Thief by Hannu Rajaniemi. It’s on my list for a re-read since I read it so long ago and there are two sequels I haven’t read yet. It’s a sci-fi heist story set in the far future of the solar system.

Lots of weird and interesting stuff with memory and transferring consciousness if I remember right.

Oh yeah that’s hard to watch. The bleakest ending to anything I’ve ever seen. I don’t think it’s something I ever need to watch again, but it’s worth seeing once.

I just watched Beyond the Sea from Black Mirror season 6. Trying not to watch the whole series in one go like I did last time.

Clearing out my overgrown garden. Multiple trips to the tip in my tiny car. I just want to sit and play the new F1 game but if I do that the plants will take over.

I only ever lurked there using Apollo, but I’m not intending to go back apart from to clear my subscriptions/delete the account.

I miss some of the smaller subs but there’s already enough here to keep me going I think.

The amount of times I’ve automatically picked up my phone during ad breaks and stuff to try and open up Apollo has been a bit of an eye opener.

I’m not a fully paid up member of the metal scene, although I’m listening to more and more of it these days, but I’ll follow king gizzard wherever they go!

I think it’s worth just giving up on p1 for the rest of the season. From p2 downwards the competition is pretty exciting.

I haven’t had a chance to listen to this yet, but I’ve had the first half of the album on in the car and it’s a beauty so far.

They release so much that sometimes some of it passes me by. I only listened to their previous album for the first time yesterday!

I’ve been listening to the new song by Ren, called Suic*de.

It’s distressing and poignant as you’d expect from a song with that name, but it’s also a good tune.

Not the kind of music I’d usually be into, but there’s something about Ren that’s just different.
