Ja, aber welche das ist hängt einzig und allein von deiner Hardware ab und ob du irgendwelche Sonderwünsche hast. Ich hab zum Beispiel erst nach drei Distros eine gefunden, die es auf meinem Laptop schafft, sich mit dem WLAN zu verbinden, weil das irgendwie ein ganz komischer Treiber ist, der auch mit Herumbasteln einfach nicht funktioniert hat. Das war bei mir Linux Mint. Da ich am Desktop eine Nvidia Karte hab, hab ich auch hier Mint probiert und es klappt einfach alles auf Anhieb. Ich spiele viel und ganz verschiedene Sachen und mit ein bisschen Übung hab ich das auch alles hinbekommen. Ja, auf Windows wärs schneller gegangen. Aber nicht weil es besser funktioniert, sondern weil ich einfach jahrelange Übung drin hatte. Jetzt bin ich wirklich froh, dass ich den Sprung gewagt und mir Neues angeeignet habe und Windows überhaupt nicht mehr brauche.

Federated means it is connected to other services of the Fediverse like Lemmy, Kbin, PeerTube, Mastodon and many many more. All of these can be viewed and interacted with on your Kbin account. Subreddits are more like Communities (Lemmy terminology) or Magazines (Kbin terminology). Instances are different servers that are "federated" - connected to each other.
Couldn't agree more with your well worded post. Especially the third paragraph is absolutely nailing it for me. It feels like people on a crusade or something. There is no real discussion going on.
