Any thoughts on Pixelfed support for image/video hosting in kbin?

It seems that the developer for Pixelfed is creating a kbin app. Any thoughts on integrating upload/hosting support for pixelfed into posts here? I haven't seen anyone else mention it, but it seems like integrating between other open source and decentralized ActivityPub software might help adoption of the fediverse overall.

The second one (right) is so much better than the previous ones. It loses the 'bald guy' look that the other ones have.

I still maintain that we don't need a mascot, but... that one would be good if we need one.

One of the advantages of being on Kbin is that you can scroll All by New, and see genuinely interesting content

On Reddit, browsing r/All by new would show so much spam, it was really pointless if you just were looking for content. One relied on reddit's algorithm to show you new stuff you hadn't actively searched for. The nice thing about Kbin, and the threadiverse in general, is that you can browse m/All by New as see genuinely...

This sounds more like you're only looking at subscribed magazines... I see way, way, more stuff than cats and tech. There is also an infinite number of fricken anime posts out there that I can't block fast enough.

I see very few cats posts in All>new, but it's a link aggregation social site and majority of the early adopters here are tech nerds so of course there is a lot of those articles posted.

Patrick did a short cameo on the twitch show "Critical Role" which is a D&D campaign that is led and played by voice actors. It's incredible if you've never watched it. Patrick's role was a paladin and he was a little awkward with the format, but his character was very good and some of the notes left behind by him were incredible for building the story up even more even after he left.

Hyperion is my next in line to read. I caught a thread on reddit before leaving about best scifi books to read aside from the classics and Hyperion was way up there in recommendations. I'm pretty excited for it.

I really wish someone would pick up SG-U and run with it. It had so much potential...

Thank you for putting the time into this. I'm really enjoying what you're creating here and I look forward to all it can become. Please pace yourself and find help where you can. Don't burn yourself out!

It seems that infinite scroll is now working in comments too?! Nice!
