In my experience in New Zealand & Australia if you are in a place that is licensed to serve alcohol they have a legal obligation to provide free water, so restaurants will often just bring you a jug or glass bottle of chilled tapwater by default when you are first seated and are happy to provide more if asked! Where I live now it is similar though I don't think it is required by law, they just do it anyway because it is hot af lol
Tap! I always keep a fresh jug of tapwater in the fridge and use it to refill my water bottle, this way I always have nice cold water. Sparkling is ok too, but for me, that's reserved for a special luxury treat at a restaurant.
Clicking the button should keep the dialog box open for upload, weirdly hovering does seem to work for me but maybe that's a browser thing (or it's different for comments, idk)? Upload from url is not working yet if that was what you were trying.
If you go to your profile, on the right-hand side close to the top there is a panel with things like join date. Click on "Moderated" and you should see your magazine listed
Yes! I have what I call a hobby graveyard for all the projects and hobbies that I lost interest in, got derailed with and felt unable to return to (it is like a mental block), or sometimes don't even know how to finish. Super frustrating! I have ADHD as well though so I figured that was probably what was affecting it for me.
I am really hoping I will be able to adopt a cat next year, I have had to move around so much and be in pet-unfriendly places for many years now and really missed having a little friend. Now I just want to be sure I am in a good position to look after them first and part of that job is looking after myself enough, lol. But it is a really good motivation!
I think it's temporarily disabled/not yet implemented, ernest can delete them as he is the instance admin but for now maybe your best option is to ask others if they want to come aboard as mods, and hand the keys over to them later on. Perhaps try a thread in /m/ModHelp and/or a pinned thread in your zines asking for help, and y'know, it's ok to feel a bit overwhelmed when you're learning a whole new thing. :)
