I use gestures on my tablet because I find the swiping causes less inconsistent shit to happen than on my phone. On the smaller Zenfone I find gestures are nice because screen realestate is a premium. On my larger S20FE, I use the Nav bar. Much nicer and consistent.
I'm a pretty big fan on 8bitdo. I have several wired and wireless pads from them. Something about it just clicks for me, and their new translucent models are just awesome.
