The MARS team was talking about Dreamcast/Naomi/Atomis Wave/CPS 3 type systems to be released for the MARS unit. I am quite excited as some of my favorite games are in the dreamcast level of systems. I have 3 MiSTer systems set up in arcade cabinets and I would love the ability to play more modern systems in there. I also imagine that with enough time the current MiSTer cores will be ported over the the MARS platform. Also the concept front end looks quite nice.
If this device had the OnionOS/GarlicOS experience it would be the perfect device for me. Regardless of that it comes with me every day to work. It’s the best vertical form factor for longer play sessions IMO. Just wanted to show some love!
I wish my Miyoo Mini Plus had some of the nice features of the 351V. I'm still waiting for the one to rule them all handheld. I'd like a smaller (4") horizontal handheld that can play saturn/dreamcast games. The more powerful ones (Loki, Ayn Neo, Asus ROG) are all huge to me.
I have been trying to figure out why 3/4 of the games in my Daphne folder show the wrong name, despite having a proper miyoogamelist.xml file in the correct folder. Turns out they don’t get their name from there. Instead they get their name from a file located in : /BIOS/arcade_lists/arcade-rom-names.txt...
I just wanted to know if anybody knows of specific kitchen utensil brands that're actually worth buying long-term. Or atleast which ones should be avoided....
Not a specific brand, but more of an idea for you. I live somewhat close to a restaurant supply store. The options they have there are of much higher quality and a much more reasonable price than you will find in your typical department store/Williams Sonoma/Sur La Table etc. Some of the common brands they carry are Update/Choice (silicone spatulas) Vollrath (pots/ice cream scoops/dishers)
Here is an example of a slotted spoon ($0.89) It's Less than a $1 they have a bunch of other options.
Not sure if they are still the same quality, but i enjoy using my All Clad Utensils They are heavy duty and also look nice hanging on my wall above my wire shelves in my kitchen corner.
Restaurant supply places are great to get utility pots and pans / extra spoons/slotted spoons/covers/plastic storage bins etc.
I don't really care if the lurkers stay on reddit, but I'd like for the creators to transition here and I'd like for this to be the place where you find the good information....
