Search for more ticks. Places like behind the knees, bellybutton, armpits, and groin are favorite tick spots. Check everywhere on your body, including your scalp. Have someone check hard to see places for you, like your back.
Make sure that the head of the tick is not still embedded in your ear. Have someone check for you.
Try to identify the type of tick. Different ticks carry different diseases so knowing the type of tick can help you keep watch for symptoms and/or inform doctors if symptoms do develop. Lyme disease is the big one transmitted via ticks but it is not the only one.
The fact that it wasn’t full of blood is a good sign. Breathe. You are going to be just fine. Know what symptoms to look for and try to not worry yourself.
I’m definitely becoming a kbin shill to all my friends and I think they’re starting to get tired. I’m trying my best to leave comments on posts that I find interesting. Haven’t posted anything yet because I don’t have anything to post. I will post when I find something interesting enough (I do have a backlog of stupid memes on my camera roll?).
Breakfast was a granola bar. Slept in because it’s a holiday and I don’t have class. There’s a cinnamon roll I was planning on saving that I’m now eyeing.
I know I may be in the minority, but I've decided to not delete anything from my account. None of my posts or comments have a massive amount of karma and Reddit was really the only social media that I actively participated in. Call me sentimental or stupid but I don't want that record to completely go away.
Yeah, I figured that I would still check Reddit on my laptop, maybe try to suffer through the mobile app. And now I have decided to quit Reddit entirely. It’s no longer about the API and Apollo for me. Why should I stay on a platform that shows contempt for me?
Found a little doe next to the library on campus a couple of weeks ago. Had to convince the other people that were also looking at the doe that it was probably fine and that it hadn’t been abandoned.
When I got mine removed, recovery was expected to be quick and easy because mine didn’t really even have roots yet. Recovery was neither quick nor easy. My advice is to give yourself the time to recover. You don’t want to be going to the concert while bleeding/in a lot of pain.
