EDIT: The only reason why I still had it at this point was because I could use it with other apps. However, now that my Spotify Subscription is cancelled, it doesn’t work with anything. It’s mildly infuriating because today, I can’t still use it with other apps like I was able to yesterday....

I've been using linux mint for a year or two now maybe. It's fine, and actually there are several things I prefer compared to Windows.
One of the main issues with Linux as a PC OS is that you can't run as much different software as you can on Windows. This is largely due to the user base being smaller(IE, why develop an application for an OS when 99% of you userbase is not using that OS).
Creating a new OS to compete with Windows would have the same issue, and would also struggle to compete.
Also, there are so many different versions of Linux(distros), as in there are 600+ different distros so if you don't like one, there are many to choose from. Not liking Linux based on one distro is saying you don't like ice cream because you tried strawberry ice cream and didn't like the taste.
I genuinely couldn't believe some of what was said on that special. There were some people that geniunely appeared to be deluded. In particular, the Brexit Party panel member who appeared to want to have a hard border between Ireland and Northern Ireland.
This was a special one off version of the show to guage how well Brexitiers think it has gone on the anniversary of the vote.
That sounds fine in principle, however I would wager that most people wouldn't turn around and admit that they inflicted harm on the country by voting for Brexit on national TV
TLDR had a decent video on this. Basically UK citizens used to spend less money on food than a lot of EU/comparable countries, in part due to the fact that our diet is worse and we eat more cheap processed food. We're now spending similar amounts on food as other countries.
