in small town wisconsin. a bit over $360 a month for gigabit internet (no caps, but also doesn't actually deliver 1000mbps 24/7, either), a landline (with u.s. long distance included), and the biggest cable package (with one stb) that doesn't have 'premium' channels like hbo--those are $12-20 each. plus taxes and 'fees', of course.
they can 'reduce' the price of the combined cost of the bundled streaming services---when they know they've got the internet access (which is required to sub to it) they can fuck with all they want.
