I'm dual booting Pop_OS and Windows 11 for now while l try things out. I went with Pop_OS for the NVIDIA drivers, since I have a NVIDIA card. Installation went smoothly, but setup is where things started to get a little weird....
I've just discovered that my monitor of the last 2 years (HP X27q) supports HDR 400. Not great, but an improvement over SDR nonetheless, I'd say. Only problem is, when I enable it, the monitor begins to emit a very high pitch whining noise. It's incredibly quiet, so quiet I didn't notice it for a few days. But now that I know it's there, it's definitely there and I can't go back to not hearing it. What in the world is going on with the HDR setting?
I might be completely misunderstanding the way Android Auto/CarPlay function. They're both essentially just screen projections from your phone to the in-car display, right?...
I've been having an issue with my Fold 4 recently where the cover screen will randomly stop recognizing touch input. The display still works fine, no flickering or odd artifacts, just the touch won't work....
They sent out an email update on the shipping delay (shipment to the US warehouse was held up in customs) along with a coupon code for a free roll of filament with free shipping as compensation.
I made a post about this a couple weeks ago as well, but my order for the 4 Pro still hasn't shipped and I haven't seen any email updates from Elegoo either. I placed my order back on August 6th with shipping from the US warehouse for delivery in August. There's still a bit of time left in the month, but if it hasn't shipped...
On my Anycubic Mega S, I've had this problem since day one. Lines that should be straight seem to jitter on the z-axis. It's most noticeable on thin pieces with straight lines like this tall cylinder I printed to get an illustration of what's going on. It does show up on everything I print though no matter how shallow the angle....

Is it at all possible to use Android Auto in a car that only supports Apple CarPlay?

PSA: Check your email for a free kg of PLA filament from Elegoo if you placed an August order for a Neptune 4 Pro in the US

Is anybody else still waiting for their Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro to ship?

I've linked an article from a week ago here, but the content is still relevant as the attack is ongoing....

I can't figure out why my layers look misaligned on the z-axis
