I agree the main story is kinda short but I found it also very engaging. There are so many great side quests plus a lot of extra detail hidden throughout that add context and link gigs together. The combat mechanics are great, especially once you start getting upgrades and good cyberwear. I'm really keen to see how this changes with the new update.

Artificial turf is an increasingly popular choice for suburban backyards, offering an evergreen surface that requires little maintenance. But that convenience comes with a big environmental price tag.
Seems to be very common where I live. People have pulled out existing gardens or grass and just replaced it with this stuff, even on the verge which they proceed to park on.

John really liked the story and had high praises for the acting and music. Other things that stood out:
Lighting (especially in dark or interior shots).
Material quality.
Shadow detail.
Incredibly fast loading times.
Highly polished.
Some complaints:
Combat can be a bit repetitive.
Some water bodies are unimpressive.
Upscaling solution needs some work (internal resolution is also pretty low).
I've yet to try the demo on this but the game does look really cool. I wasn't a fan of the combat in FFXV and FFVII Remake so hopefully this feels better to play.

Good question. I only just created an account, but I don't know if I'd go back. I used sync for reddit (apparently being ported for lemmy) so if I can't keep using that I wouldn't browse reddit on my mobile.
I just hope some of the gaming communities and their users migrate over as well a lot of the tech support and branded subreddits - googling "X vacuum issue reddit" or "dragon scale farming botw reddit" will be hard to transition from. I don't think this will happen overnight.
Likewise, I think there needs to be a better way of handling duplicated federated instances as I can see this being annoying / a confusing turn off for new users.
