For everyone new to Lemmy, how are you finding the experience?

I wanted to get a pulse check on how new members are finding the general experience/website. Is it more confusing than Reddit or are you finding the instance system a better way of doing things as it can give you more freedom of where you choose to create an account?...

I signed up to both kbin and Lemmy to try them out. I'm actually liking and having fun setting up my profiles and subscribing to communities. I may eventually shut one down, but for right now I'm ok with having two sign-ins (along with some Mastodon thrown in). I actually found kbin easier to add subscriptions to, once I figured out I needed to change the ! at the beginning of Lemmy communities to an @.

Thankfully I didn't have too many save posts, so I just copied and pasted my favorites into pages documents. If I ever win the lottery, I have the step-by-step guide provided by u/BlakeClass!
