A problem many have realized is that there are many /tech, /gaming etc. communities in different instances/servers. There is already https://fediverse.observer/ , so I think it wouldn't be too hard to make a service that periodically roams the fediverse, checks for example the last 100,000 submissions of each (or top 100 active...
I don't have any RTL433 in mysetup anymore, but from my notes, when I had my doorbell integrated into HA, I was using this HASSIO addon... https://github.com/DarwinData/hassio-addons
Is there a motor sports replay equivalent in the fediverse yet? I keep having to go back to “the old site” to find links to magnets so I can get the races after they have finished.
It should actually be an offence for someone to do this. That change from garden to hard standing will cause issues with any drains and probably cause flooding.
If people really still wanted to use reddit and the communities that existed that are now closed, then wouldn't they just start a new community, like r/funnyv2 or something?
Yeah, I did use that in the past, but I got bored of the same sources. I think that's why I liked Reddit for news, because it came from an un-curated source that I had no control over, so I felt like I was getting every view and not a news outlets constant slant on things.

Can someone explain to me how magazines work across instances? If there is a magazine on one instance, and the same named magazine on another instance, when the issues with frederation and cloudlfare are sorted out, will those two magazines show as the one magazine on kbin? Or do they just stay seperate?
As everything is no one true home anymore, is kbin effectively just acting as a instance agregator as well as being its own instance?
It’s Saturday night: let’s speculate wildly on the ID of the BBC presenter giving a kid money for blow!
I reckon it’s Anne Robinson. Fight me.
